The World CCUS Conference envisions itself as a premier, cross-organisational, and interdisciplinary technical event primarily emphasising engineering solutions. The conference’s comprehensive programme and affiliated industry supporters aim to tackle worldwide technological and industrial challenges in the field of CCUS.

Jointly hosted by two esteemed engineering academies, the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences (NTVA) and the Danish Academy of Technological Sciences (ATV), the World CCUS Conference receives additional support from individual members of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE), Royal Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE). Serving as the event’s organiser, the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) ensures the seamless coordination of the conference.

Central to the core of the World CCUS Conference is the dissemination of cutting-edge technologies, proven best practices, and collaborative initiatives that underscore the critical importance of the pathways to accelerating deployment. The comprehensive conference fosters a harmonious collaboration with diverse stakeholders, encompassing professional societies, esteemed academic partners, dynamic energy and service corporations, innovative entrepreneurial ventures, and dedicated environmental advocacy organisations.

Guiding the strategic direction of the World CCUS Conference is a Board of Directors comprised of seven representatives from leading organisations to steer the conference towards excellence.
